"To be a good songwriter - you really need to be a piece of blotter paper to all that is around you. Just soak up headlines, current events, one-line comments, and situations that you are part of. This is the most important thing for me - and where most of my songs come from!"

Baby steps
Song writing is getting better as I practice. It’s as if I started working out diligently and am finally starting to see some results. I’m excited to play a show but I don’t know if I exactly want to waste people’s time with just me and a guitar, and I might be able to get some people to drum for me. In which case I’ll rock the double-neck and make it an amped performance, which won’t change the music so much as I get to make it a bit more psychedelic and rock-inspired.
School is nice and I really do like it, but if I were able to go on tour at some point before I finished, I would definitely take a break from it. I’m pretty sure of this, and I can see where my priorities lie.
Enjoying myself a bit more with everyday. Laserquest soon.
